Entering his 10th season on the staff, Al Hansen will again coach punters and kickers at USF.

In 2007, Hansen guided kicker Matt Lindgren to a GPAC All-Conference first team spot, and also to the Victory Sports Network All-American honorable mention team.

In 2004, he guided Mike Boen and T.C. Fraser to All-American seasons. In 1987, Hansen earned All-Conference honors by averaging 40.3 yards per kick as a Cougar. He was also an honorable mention All-American that year. He has coached four All-American punters and kickers in his career.
