Kacie Ehinger is in her second year as an assistant coach for the Marist volleyball program.

A four-year starter and all-conference award winner as a libero and defensive specialist at Adrian College, Ehinger moved into the coaching ranks quickly after completing her college career. She began coaching collegiately at Defiance College as a graduate assistant coach in August of 2007. During her two years at Defiance, she was responsible for coaching defensive players and primary passers. Additional responsibilities that she undertook included: budgeting, fundraising, camps, recruiting, academic monitoring and developing strength and conditioning programs.

In the summer of 2009, she took a new assignment as assistant volleyball coach at her alma mater, Adrian College. There she continued many of the same duties, as well as, the added responsibility of being the head coach of the JV squad. After one season, she moved onto Siena Heights University where she reconnected with her college coach, Mike Watkins. At Siena Heights she served as the top assistant where she was in charge of training serve receive and defense, as well as scouting, team travel, recruiting, budget management.

She earned her B.A. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Adrian College in 2006. While coaching at Defiance College she completed her Master of Arts in Education: Sport Science in 2009.
