LUND AND RIIKONEN-PURSTI POST WEEKEND WINS For the second weekend in a row senior Oskar Lund won a collegiate race at the Central Super Tour. He covered the 10-kilometer classic course in a winning time of 29:28 Saturday (Jan. 31). The following day he was battling for the win but suffered a minor crash. He skied his way back through the field to finish third in the 15-kilometer race in 40:02.

RIIKONEN-PURTSI'S TOP-10 FINISH LEADS TEAM TO SIXTH PLACE FINISH AT US Michigan Tech senior Henna Riikonen-Purtsi finished her week at the US National Championships with a fourth place finish in the "B" Final and 10th overall in the classical sprints Friday (Jan. 8). Her 10th-place finish is believed to be the best ever by a female Michigan Tech skier at the US National Championships.
