North Texas women's tennis coach Sujay Lama announced that the team signed one athlete to a National Letter of Intent for the 2010-11 season. Carolina Barboza of Solymar, Canelones, Uruguay committed to playing for the Mean Green for her freshman season Friday morning. More

North Texas Tennis finished up the North Texas Classic Saturday afternoon 4-2 on the day and 19-7 for the tournament. Senior Catalina Cruz had the big win of the day defeating Northwestern State's Lange in three sets, 6-2, 6-7(2), 7-6(1). More

Mean Green Tennis wrapped up day one of the North Texas Classic Friday evening at the Waranch Tennis Complex with its best day of the fall. The 15-5 record on the day included only two losses among the new doubles teams and saw huge wins from Paula Dinuta and Narine Kazarova in singles. More

The Mean Green tennis team will finally return to the Waranch Tennis Complex to host the North Texas Classic Friday and Saturday. The tournament will mark the first time this season that the Mean Green has had a chance to compete at home. More
