Senior Catherine Gildea from the women's track and field and cross country teams is the recipient of the 2016 John A. Meegan Athletic Achievement Award. The award was presented at the 61st annual Holy Cross Varsity Club dinner, held at the Hogan Campus Center on Saturday, May 7.
Eleven of Holy Cross' athletic teams have achieved a perfect score of 1,000 in the NCAA's academic performance standard, the Academic Progress Rate (APR). These 11 teams all had a perfect multi-year APR score (based on data from the 2011-2012 through 2014-2015 school years), which tied Holy Cross for 10th in the nation out of 356 Division I schools.
Fourteen College of the Holy Cross varsity athletic teams have received Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) public recognition awards from the NCAA. These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. The 14 total teams earning public recognition awards puts Holy Cross in the top 10 among all Division I athletic programs.

Sophomore Hannah Jeter has been named the GoHolyCross.com Crusader of the Week, for competition from Nov. 16-22. Jeter led the Holy Cross women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the ECAC Championship on Saturday.
